It’s new bike season, with this week’s EICMA show in Milan seeing a host of new model unveilings and, with it, sometimes the opportunity for big discounts on unsold ‘old models’ – as is the case here. Kawasaki has just announced a new, facelifted, 2026 version of its ZX-10R Ninja superbike and at the same time leading dealer Daytona has also announced it’s offering a huge discount of £3500 on this brand new, 0-mile but pre-registered example of the current ZX-10R SE – a saving which takes its price down from the usual £17,499 to now just £13,999

Another big discount on a brand-new bike but this time, not because of a new model, but because of well-documented stories about financial difficulties at the manufacturer concerned. KTM’s problems with unsold inventory have led to a host of offers and discounts and this time it concerns one of its latest, introduced only last year, greatest models – the 890 SMT. Save £2635 on this BMW R1300GS Adventure
Proof that it’s not just outgoing or niche new bikes that sometimes get big dealer discounts, proven, best-selling, current ones can sometimes, too – as is the case here.
