Suzuki’s 2026 Address 125: More Torque, More Storage, Same Classic Charm

Suzuki GB has pulled the covers off its spruced-up Address 125, and while it still looks like a regular scooter for nipping to the shops, under the skin it’s been on quite the engineering diet and workout.

Let’s start with the engine. Suzuki has fiddled with the camshaft profile, beefed up the airbox by 10%, and ditched one of the exhaust catalysts. The result? A touch more torque – now 10.2Nm at a friendlier 5,000rpm – and peak power that arrives earlier, giving punchier getaways from the lights. It also meets the latest Euro 5+ standards, claims 148.6mpg, and emits less CO₂ than a startled hedgehog (45g/km, if you’re counting).

Fuel-sipping tricks include a quieter roller one-way clutch, a tweaked CVT, and an electromagnetic stator plate that sounds like something from a Marvel film. The frame is 1kg lighter yet 25% stiffer, which means better cornering without compromising stability. Oh, and that weight saving freed up room for a bigger 5.3-litre fuel tank – which is somehow 25% lighter. Clever stuff.

2026 Suzuki Address 125 - Equipment

Practicality gets a big tick: underseat storage swells from 21.8 to 24.4 litres, big enough for a helmet and a decent-sized takeaway. There’s now a second front storage pocket, a USB charging port, utility hooks for your shopping bags, and even two helmet hooks under the seat. A combined braking system brings a 190mm front disc and a 120mm rear drum into play should the unexpected happen.

The styling stays resolutely classic, though now with sharper bodywork, a chrome-trimmed headlight, and enough LEDs front and back to rival your neighbour’s Christmas lights. Comfort tweaks include a new seat, longer pillion pegs, and a wider floorboard.

2026 Suzuki Address 125 - Price

Available in blue, white, or black, the 2026 Address 125 is on sale now for £2,599. Bagsy one for the commute.
