BMW’s brilliant, big boxer-powered new cruiser family, the R18, is a great alternative to traditional, American Harleys and Indians and its Roctane model, being a high-barred ‘bagger’ is the wildest of the lot, and often the one that’s subject to the biggest dealer discounts of all – as is the case here. BMW dealer John Clark of Tayside, Scotland, for example, is currently offering just one, brand new, unregistered example of the bike with a whopping £6205 off its usual price of £24,205 so taking it down now to just £18,000

Get £5686 off this Zero FXE
Although electric motorcycles remain a big talking point and they’re certainly a big part of the future, larger capacity models have yet to significantly catch on which is you’ll often find them with big dealer discounts – as is the case here. Oakley Motorcycles of Maidstone, for example, is currently offering this FXE supermoto-style model from leading Californian brand Zero with a huge £5686 off its usual price so taking it down from normal price of £13,685 to now be available for just £7999 Is that enough of a saving to make you consider an electric bike?

Get £4845 off this KTM 1290 Super Duke GT
How about this for a huge saving on a brand-new example of one of the best sports-tourers you can buy? KTM’s faired, GT version of its wild 1290 Super Duke loses none of the thrills and performance of the super naked but makes it significantly more practical with added comfort, fairing and panniers. Best of all, as many KTM’s are currently on offer and the GT is due replacement by a new 1390 version, the 1290 can sometimes be had for a sone. While, finally for this week, how about another great dealer discount on one of the best super nakeds of all? Italian brand Aprilia has just updated its class leading, V4 Tuono for 2025 with extra aero and more meaning that dealers are sometimes looking to offload unsold stock of the old version. OnYerBike of Aylesbury, for example, is currently offering this brand new, 2024 Factory version in grey/black with a huge saving of £3601 the result of which takes its asking price down from £18,100 to now just £14,499

Get this Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX with £1900 off
We’ve seen brand new examples of Kawasaki’s supercharged sports tourer, the Ninja H2 SX, being offered with big discounts, but here’s the proof that low mileage used examples can sometimes be even bigger bargains. Used bike specialist Superbike Factory, for example, has just slashed the price of this 21-plate example by a further £1900 which takes its price down from the previous £13,790 to now just £11,890. It’s on a 21 plate, has covered just 4362 miles and, as a result can now be had for just under £12,000 – or getting on for half the price of a new one

Of if a supercharged sports-tourer isn’t to your fancy, how about this for a stunning deal on one of the best – but also often overlooked – adventure bikes currently available. Plan your route. Start from any UK location leaving enough time to complete about 10 challenges and arrive at Mallory Park by 3pm.
The Challenges. Set by motorcycle personalities, our challenges will test your skill, resourcefulness and ingenuity. You'll get a list in advance of the day - complete as many as you want.
Share. Our challengers want to see evidence It's easy but you'll need your smartphone. We’ll share full details of how to do this before the day.
Win prizes. The three riders who complete the most challenges will win, plus everybody will be entered into a draw to win prizes from us and our amazing partners.
Have fun. Your ticket includes access to the Festival of Motorcycling at Mallory Park, Sat 16 & Sun 17 with free camping. Enjoy
What’s included
All participants get free entry to The Festival of Motorcycling on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 August at Mallory Park where they will join Two Wheels motorcycle celebrities and get refreshments on arrival.
The festival features static displays and live track sessions showcasing everything from brand new showroom machines to classic & vintage bikes. There’s also action on the dirt, with an adventure bike course and trials area plus special guests and live entertainment on Saturday evening.
