Save £6055 on this BMW R 18B
BMW’s big and bold, boxer-powered and Harley cruiser-rivalling R 18 family seems to be struggling to make a dent in its US rival going by the amount of dealer discounts available – but when they’re as big as this it makes them more than worth a look. Peterborough BMW dealer Sycamore Motorrad, for example, has just slashed a full £6055 off the price of this brand new, fully laden R 18 B ‘bagger which not only takes its price down from the previous £30,050 to now just £23,995, it also makes it nearly £4K cheaper than even the bog-standard Harley Street Glide.

Get £4063 off this Harley-Davidson 1250 Pan America S
Speaking of Harley, how about this for a great dealer discount on Harley-Davidson’s rival to BMW’s class-leading GS? In a similar way to BMW’s R 18 cruiser, Harley’s Pan America 1250 – although brilliant – has struggled to tempt buyers away from the established class-leader leading to big dealer discounts, as is the case here. Blade Motorcycles are currently offering this brand new but pre-registered example of the top spec S version, complete with semi-active suspension, with a full £4063 off, taking its price down from £17,552 to now just £13,489 – or a full £3000 less than BM’s new R1300GS!

Save £3050 on this Kawasaki Ninja 1000 SX
There are currently lots of big dealer discounts on more conventional class-leading bikes, too – as is the case here. Kawasaki’s Ninja 1000 SX, with 140bhp, great electronics and immense versatility has long been one of the very best sports tourers – and great value, too. But this example is even better yet. Get £2500 off this Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS
While, finally for this week, how about a big dealer discount on what is arguably not only one of the best super nakeds you can buy but also probably British brand Triumph’s most iconic bike? The three cylinder Speed Triple naked roadster celebrates its 30th anniversary this year and has been one of the Hinckley marque’s best sellers ever since with the latest 1200cc RS version introduced in 2021 with 178bhp. Normally £16,095, Blade motorcycles of Swindon is currently offering this brand new, red example with a full £2500 off its list price taking it down to just £13,599!

How about this for another big saving on what was already one of the best bikes of its type around? BMW’s latest S1000RR is right up there with the very best superbikes you can buy but this used example, currently being offered with a further £1000 discount by used bike specialists Superbike Factory, is surely one of the best value examples around, too. Get £5000 off this Triumph Tiger 1200 Rally Pro
How about this for another huge £5000 saving on a class-leading bike? Triumph’s latest Tiger 1200 is right up there with the very best offerings in the adventure bike category, comes with blind spot rear radar, a big TFT dash and 148bhp and, in Rally Pro spec, off-road wire wheels, longer travel suspension and more. We’ve featured big dealer discounts of Suzuki’s rejuvenated hyperbike, the Hayabusa, before, as, despite its phenomenal performance and impressive spec it’s proving tricky to shift. But with a deal as big as this that may be different. While, finally for this week, how about this for a huge saving on another black beauty that was already one of the best value bikes in world leading cruiser specialists Harley-Davidson’s range? The 975cc Nightster is Harley’s entry-level cruiser based around the new, liquid-cooled ‘Revolution Max’ engine, is easy to ride yet decently equipped with ride modes and more and normally costs £12,945 – except here. Get this Moto Guzzi 1200 Sport with £1807 off
Moto Guzzis may be an acquired taste but there’s little doubt about the quirky shaft drive V-twins’ heritage, character and style. But this used 1200 Sport is also a cracking bike that’s now being offered at a bargain price. Harley’s all-new adventure bike, the Pan America, as well as being a far better performer than many realise with a great 150bhp Revolution Max V-twin and better-than-average all-round ability, can often be a discounted bargain, especially used as is the case here. Save £1212 on this Triumph Thruxton 1200
While, finally for this week, here’s a great used deal on Triumph’s now deleted Thruxton 1200, which remains one of the greatest recent retros with its timeless café racer styling and ‘High Torque’ 96bhp twin. Many salivated most over the high spec Ohlins and Brembo-equipped ‘R’ version but, in reality, the standard bike was just as good and a whole lot cheaper. This low mileage used example, at used bike specialists Superbike Factory, is an even bigger bargain still. It’s on an 18-plate, has covered just 3763 miles and has now been reduced by £1212 taking its asking price down to just £7078 – that’s cheaper than a new SV650 and again even comes with free delivery!
